Mace has always had a passion for business, and he loves working with clients who are driven and have ambitious business goals.
He is a serial entrepreneur, having worked with and invested in multiple successful start-up businesses over the years he understands exactly what it takes to get a business idea off the ground and fully achieve its targeted success.
In 2014 when Mace started M2 Corporate he wanted to change the way his firm supported its clients. Tired of the traditional reactive accounting model, Mace focused on making sure that M2 Corporate was industry-leading, proactive, and future proof in relation to the services it provides. Ensuring that our clients have accurate and real-time business financial information to allow them to make informed business decisions.
At the same time as starting M2 Corporate, Mace was also a founder, board member and CFO for Pirate Life Brewing. Pirate life was one of Australia’s most awarded and fastest-growing craft breweries in the history of the industry. In late 2017 the business was sold to AB InBev, Mace was heavily involved in the negotiation of the transaction and ultimately delivering a successful outcome to investors & the Founders.
Mace’s specialty is Business Advisory, working with his clients to make sure that their businesses not only succeed but thrive. He is hands on with his client’s businesses and enjoys helping them solve problems, hit their targets, and achieve growth. His qualifications include an AIPA from the Institute of Public Accountants and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Western Australia for Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting. In 2020 Mace was awarded the 30under30 Award in the Business Advisory Category, a National Award hosted by Accountants Daily.
